Building Excellence, November 2016
Since changing its name in August 2015, the Construction Family Assistance (CFA) Foundation has been working to build awareness of its mission and to raise money to help construction families in need. The CFA Foundation is proud to announce that since 2010, it has provided assistance to nearly 20 families of construction workers who have been affected by life-changing construction incidents.
“We have provided over $30,000 in financial support to date to families in need,͟ said Darrell Gossett of ERMCO and President of the CFA Foundation. ͞Over half of our support has occurred in the last two years with the growth and awareness of the Foundation as we have assisted eight different families with $19,500 in financial support.”
The Foundation has assisted families throughout the state of Indiana and from all segments of the industry including building and highway, union and merit shop and in several different industry trades. The impact on the families is immeasurable.
As the son and caregiver of one recipient of CFA Foundation assistance recently messaged to Client Outreach Chairman, Mike Owen of ERMCO, “Let me start by saying I am truly thankful for the blessing you and the CFA Foundation have given us. This helps out tremendously and I know if my dad was conscious he would be grateful as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you.”
The following is a list of the aid the CFA Foundation has provided to date. The company and individual names have been removed to protect their privacy but this list will give you a better idea of the wide range of assistance the Foundation has provided.
